An academic lecture given by the President Beina Zhu of China Cotton Textile Association(CCTA)

        In the afternoon of 4^th Dec,2019, President of CCTA Beina Zhu , was invited to give an academic lecture entitled “Cotton textile industry of China has been becoming stronger and stronger during past 70 years". Nearly 200 teachers and students from Textile College attended the report meeting. The Vice president of ZUT Prof. Zhoufeng Liu presented "Lecturing Certificate of Hongde Forum " to President. Beina Zhu. The report meeting was hosted by Prof.Jichang Zhou, Director of Social Science.

        At the report meeting, President Beina Zhu reported expounds on China cotton textile industry status, vitality and influence， investment strength, technical equipment level, product output and quality, import and export trade volume, science and technology level, employment skills, labor productivity, etc, showing the great changes and achievements of China cotton textile industry from shortage to abundance, from quantity to quality, from plan to market, the state-owned enterprises from being dominant to diversified. The report by President Beina Zhu was witty and humorous, quoted extensively and explained in simple terms, which won the warm applause of the teachers and students. After the meeting, President Beina Zhu had a deep communication with teachers and students, and encourage them to study hard and innovate, and strive to contribute their own strength to the countr.

        Beina Zhu, President of China Cotton Textile Association, professor level senior engineer. She graduated from the East China Institute of textile technology in 1983, and has worked in CCTA since 1998. She has successively served as deputy secretary general, secretary general, vice president, etc. She has been engaged in the research on the progress and development of cotton textile industry for a long time, and has been the president of China Cotton Textile Industry Association since 2010.
