The Xiang Shan Science Conference (the 680th) sponsored by Textile College – An symposium on the academic frontier, core technology and application prospect of textile electronics, sensing and computing was successfully held in Beijing

Executive presidents Zongmin Wang, JianyongYu, Chang ming Li, bin Hu and Dong yi Chen host the report meeting

        From 15^th,October to 16th, 2020, the 680th Xiangshan Science Conference, with the theme of “academic frontier, core technology and application of fabric electronics, sensing and computing”, was successfully held in Beijing. Prof. Jianyong Yu of DongHua University, Prof. Changming Li of Suzhou University of science and technology, Prof. Zongmin Wang, vice president of Zhengzhou University and previous president of Zhong yuan University of technology, Prof. Bin Hu of Lanzhou University and Prof. Dongyi Chen of University of Electronic Science and technology were invited to serve as the executive chairman of the symposium. Prof. Xiaowei Song,Director of Science and Technology Department of ZUT, Prof. Hongying Yang, President of Textile College, and more than 40 experts and scholars from more than 20 institutes in China were invited to attend the meeting. Dr.Jinli Zhou and Dr. Yunlei Yin as conference secretaries have participated in the application and preparation of this conference. Dr.fan Xiong of ZUT gave a report entitled "development trend and challenge of fabric electrode".

        The conference focused on "Smart fabric materials, Sensors and Actuators, Processing, Manufacturing, Innovative Applications of smart fabrics and clothing, as well as Electronic Circuits, Signals and Computing of Fabrics and Clothing". Prof. Xiaoming Tao and Prof. Dong yi Chen individually delivered review reports entitled “Development Status, Scientific Issues, Core Technologies and Application Prospects of textile electronic devices and systems", "The Academic Frontier and Core Technologies of Fabric Electronics, Sensing and Computing". Prof.Changming Li, Prof. Hongzhi Wang, Prof. Bin Hu, Prof. Li Liu, Researcher Yiqiang Chen , etc. made comments on the central topic, respectively.

        The Xiangshan Scientific Conference was initiated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (The Previous State Science and Technology Commission) and officially established in 1993 with the joint support of the Ministry of Science and Sechnology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has been successively sponsored and supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Academic Departments, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Ministry of Education, the Science and Technology Commission of Central Military Commission, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the National Health and Family Planning Funding Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Transport and other department .
